Reflexology and Indian Head Massage in Caversham, Reading
My name is Nicky Marshall MAR and I am a fully qualified reflexologist and member of the Association of Reflexologists, the largest reflexology organisation in the UK. I am bound by their strict codes of practice and ethics and am fully insured.Since qualifying as a reflexologist, I have undertaken the following further training to complement my existing knowledge:
- Basic Vertical Reflex Therapy (this involves the top of the feet being treated while the client is standing. Due to the weight-bearing position this technique allows deeper reflexes to be accessed and has been very successful in treating many health problems)
- Cancer and Complementary Therapies
- First Aid course with the British Red Cross.
I qualified as a complementary therapist as I wanted to be able to help people and make a difference to their lives. I have a caring approach, am down to earth and friendly, and anything you reveal during a session will remain totally confidential.
I currently work part time in two local hopsices providing reflexology treatments for adult patients with cancer and other life-shortening diseases such as multiple sclerosis and motor neurone disease. I firmly believe in the part that complementary therapies can play when used alongside conventional treatments in helping these patients have a better quality of life.
Treatments are either held in a dedicated treatment room in my own home in Caversham, Reading, where you can lie back and relax and enjoy the session. Alternatively, I offer a mobile service so I can visit you at your own home. Areas covered include: Caversham & Emmer Green, Earley & Lower Earley, Pangbourne, Purley-on-Thames, Sonning & Sonning Common, Theale, Tilehurst and Woodley.

Before qualifying as a reflexologist I worked in a leading financial services firm for 5 years and as an IT trainer for an additional 5 years, therefore I fully understand the stresses and strains of working in a corporate environment.
